An audio work created by Julian Joseph for artist Frances Law's 'Voices from the River' exhibition.
Frances Law spent 8 months working with the community of Coupar Angus excavating the local burn. The excavation revealed various artifacts, from toys to pottery to cutlery. Law's exhibition involved framing these objects to explore the chronological, cultural and social history of the town. In addition, she works with children at Coupar Angus primary school and undertook a project with them where they would write stories based on the found objects. This work contains recordings of some of these stories read aloud and played on a loop in her exhibition.
A promotional work Joseph was commissioned to create, following Riso Gallo's risotto showcase at the BBC Good Food Show in Birmingham
